The clue window is a floating window that displays documentation for the item under the mouse. You can use it to obtain reference information for objects or learn what something does in the Max user interface.
Viewing the Clue Window
- Choose Clue Window from the Window menu to show the clue window. To close the clue window, click the close button in its title bar.
When you launch Max, the clue window will be shown at the same position it appeared when you quit. If the clue window was not visible when you quit, it will not be shown.
