The documentation window permits you to read, search, and navigate Max's documentation resources.
At the top of the documentation window is a a toolbar that lets you navigate through the documentation and a search field.

The documentation window toolbar lets you navigate through the documentation.
The Goto Documentation Home button displays the Max documentation home page, the entry point for all documentation resources.
The Toggle Sidebar lets you display or hide the sidebar for the documentation window. You can use the sidebar to navigate your results, view files in your search path, and to create and manage Collections.
Note: the Documentation home page does not have a sidebar, so the button is greyed out.
The Navigate Back button is the same thing as a Back button in a web browser.
The Navigate Forward button is the same thing as a Forward button in a web browser.
