array.unique Reference

Filtering duplicates and subtract arrays.

array.unique

Description

Combine two arrays into a new array object containing non-duplicate entries of the first array which do not appear in the second array.

Discussion

The object combines two operations: removing duplicates and filtering. Duplicate entries from the first array are removed, and then any entries in the first array that appear in the second are also removed. For instance, the arrays [ 0, 1, 1, 2, 8 ] and [ 2, 2, 3, 3, 5 ] would become a new array [ 0, 1, 8 ].

Arguments

None.
