Max Console Settings

Setting Max Console preferences

The Console category of the Max Preferences window shows the settings that determine how the Max Console window will appear and perform.

Preferences for working with the Max Console

The appearance and behavior of the Max Console can be tailored to provide information in the way that you'd like to see it.

You can set the dequeue size, which is the maximum number of lines posted in the Max console per update.

Font name and size settings can be changed using the font settings.

The queue that contains message for display can be managed using the queue size, which determines the number of Max Console messages available via scrolling. If you have patches which are posting many lines from the scheduler and are losing lines, you can increase this number.
