The Browser category of the Max Preferences window shows the settings associated with using the colors used for the alternating stripes of the File Browser display.
Changing the File Browser's stripe colors
- Choose Preferences from the Max menu (Macintosh) or the Options menu (Windows) to show the Preferences Window. Scroll to the Browser category of the preferences listings, then click in the Values column for the either the File Browser Stripe Color 1 or File Browser Stripe Color 2 settings and use the Color palette to change the look of the File Browser. The Max application keeps track of this setting, and it will be used whenever you launch the program.
