avg~ Reference

Keep track of average (absolute) amplitude over a period of time.

Inlets

input [signal, bang]

The inlet of avg~ takes both a signal to be averaged over time, and a bang that marks the point at which the cummulative average of the signal should be taken.

Outlets

output [number]

The absolute value of the average amplitude of the input signal.

Dynamic Attributes

These attributes can be modified in the code during execution using the set object
