mc.send~
Description
The mc.send~ object lets you send a multichannel signal to another patcher window or to another location within the same patcher window without using a patch cord. An mc.send~ object can be instantiated simply by typing into an object box the short-form letter "mc.s~".
Discussion
The number of channels are specified by the channel-count argument (default is 1). The destination of the signal can be changed on the fly using the message. An mc.receive~ object with the same name and channel-count receives the full output of mc.send~. When two or more mc.send~ objects are aimed at the same mc.receive~ object, the signals add together. When mc.send~ is aimed at a single-channel receive~ object, only the first channel is sent.
Note: The use of an mc.send~ object introduces a delay of one signal vector in any mc.send~ / mc.receive~ pair when a feedback loop is detected to allow for signal processing loops.
Arguments
object-name [symbol]
Sets the name of the mc.send~ object.
channel-count [int]
Sets how many channels mc.send~ should send to mc.receive~. Otherwise, default is (logical channel) 1. When working with receive~, this argument is optional and unnecessary as there is only one channel of audio.
Attributes
chans [int]
Sets how many input channels the object should send to mc.receive~. Setting this attribute overrides the channel-count argument. Note that like other mc objects, changes to the chans attribute will not take effect until the next audio restart.
name [symbol]
Name the mc.send~ object. All mc.send~ objects that share the same name will send data to any mc.receive~ objects that share their name.
If you want a named mc.send~ / mc.receive~ object in a Max for Live device to be unique to the device, use three dashes (--- ) to start the name of your mc.send~ / mc.receive~ destination (e.g. ).
When your patch is initialized, it will replace the three dashes with a unique-to-Live number (e.g. );

annotation [symbol]
Sets the text that will be displayed in the Clue window when the user moves the mouse over the object.
background [int] (default: 0)
Adds or removes the object from the patcher's background layer.
adds the object to the background layer, removes it. Objects in the background layer are shown behind all objects in the default foreground layer.color [4 floats]
Sets the color for the object box outline.
fontface [int]
Sets the type style used by the object. The options are:
plain
bold
italic
bold italic
Possible values:
0 = 'regular'

2 = 'italic'
3 = 'bold italic'
fontname [symbol]
Sets the object's font.
fontsize [float]
Sets the object's font size (in points).
Possible values:

hidden [int] (default: 0)
Toggles whether an object is hidden when the patcher is locked.
hint [symbol]
Sets the text that will be displayed in as a pop-up hint when the user moves the mouse over the object in a locked patcher.
ignoreclick [int] (default: 0)
Toggles whether an object ignores mouse clicks in a locked patcher.

patching_rect [4 floats] (default: 0. 0. 100. 0.)
Sets the position and size of the object in the patcher window.
position [2 floats]
Sets the object's x and y position in both patching and presentation modes (if the object belongs to its patcher's presentation), leaving its size unchanged.
presentation [int] (default: 0)
Sets whether an object belongs to the patcher's presentation.
presentation_rect [4 floats] (default: 0. 0. 0. 0.)
Sets the x and y position and width and height of the object in the patcher's presentation, leaving its patching position unchanged.
rect [4 floats]
Sets the x and y position and width and height of the object in both patching and presentation modes (if the object belongs to its patcher's presentation).
size [2 floats]
Sets the object's width and height in both patching and presentation modes (if the object belongs to its patcher's presentation), leaving its position unchanged.
textcolor [4 floats]
Sets the color for the object's text in RGBA format.
textjustification [int]
Sets the justification for the object's text.
Possible values:
0 = 'left'
1 = 'center'
2 = 'right'
varname [symbol]
Sets the patcher's scripting name, which can be used to address the object by name in pattr, scripting messages to thispatcher, and the js object.
