Clicking on the The File Browser button will open a file browser window.
The Objects button displays (or hides) the Objects toolbar browser, which lets you investigate and patch Max objects.
The Audio button displays (or hides) the Audio toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with audio files.
The Videos button displays (or hides) the Videos toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with video files.
The Images button displays (or hides) the Images toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with image files.
The Snippets button displays (or hides) the Snippets toolbar browser, which lets you find and work with Max snippets.
The Plug-ins button displays (or hides) the Plug-ins toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with VST or AU audio plug-ins or Max for Live devices.
The Vizzie button displays (or hides) the Vizzie toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with Vizzie video and control modules.
The BEAP button displays (or hides) the BEAP toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with BEAP audio modules.
The Collections button displays (or hides) the Collections toolbar browser, which lets you find and patch with collections of Plug-ins, Samples, or the results of searches you've previously saved.
Hiding/Displaying the Left Patcher Window Toolbar
You can choose to display (pin) or to hide (unpin) the left patcher window toolbar, and the Max application will remember your choice and show or hide the display the next time you open the patch.
Hiding (Unpinning) the Left Patcher Window Toolbar
- Click the Unpin toolbar triangle (located at the right border of the left patcher toolbar at the halfway point of the patcher window to hide the toolbar.
Displaying (Pinning) the Left Patcher Window Toolbar
- When the left toolbar is unpinned, position your cursor along the left edge of the patcher window. A double-arrow cursor will appear, and the left patcher window toolbar will be displayed.
- Click the Pin toolbar triangle (located at the right border of the left patcher toolbar at the halfway point of the patcher window) to display the toolbar.
